Meet our founder, AC Lockyer.
AC Lockyer is the founder of the soft washing industry, and he is a third-generation service business entrepreneur. His first business was a company named Mallard Systems, which he started in 1991. This business grew to $4.8 million in revenue with three separate branches, eventually supporting 36 trucks.
In 2010, AC started a soft washing supply company that specialized in the education, equipment, chemicals, and support specifically for soft washing businesses. To date, SoftWash Systems has grown to more than 220 in-network companies, producing over $100 million in soft washing revenue annually and operating in nine countries.
Not only does AC have a passion for entrepreneurial ventures, but he is also passionate about fishing. When SoftWash Systems was still in the conceptual stage in 2006, AC fulfilled his dream of becoming a professional tournament fisherman. He and his fishing partner, Thresher Klier, won the Redfish Tour National Championship in their rookie year.
In addition to SoftWash Systems, AC also leads Droplet International, a business holdings company with brands operating in the U.S. and beyond. Brands held under this holding company include SoftWash Systems, Softwashology, Disruptor Manufacturing, Phantom Window Works, Stingray Hose Reels, and Vulcan Pest Control.
To increase his reach and help other aspiring business owners, AC regularly speaks at conferences around the world and mentors business owners. He is also a contributing author to the book W.O.W. Factor and recently released a new book, 5 Keys to Pattern Success.
